Electricity North West has warned it will shut off power to almost 200 Saddleworth properties while engineers carry out work.
The service provider will carry out a planned power cut to 198 properties while the engineers work on cables to 'improve reliability'.
The power cut will be carried out on September 26.
It will not begin before 9am, and it will not continue after 5pm, Electricity North West has said.
