A cyclist who became lost on the moors in the Dovestones area was rescued after technology was used to pinpoint his location.
Oldham Mountain Rescue Team (OMRT) were called by Greater Manchester Police about the incident on Tuesday morning.
"Phone Find" technology pinpointed the cyclist at various points around the Ashway Moss area and a small OMRT team was dispatched up the hill.
Not far from the top, he was found waiting for the team.
He was guided back down the hill to continue his ride back home.
Nine team members were involved in the incident for more than an hour.
