The chain is yet to provide a location or opening date.

Boss Pizza said it was established to meet the growing demand for fresh dough pizzas, and their offerings are said to be distinguished by being up to 40 per cent bigger and 50 per cent more affordable than competing pizza outlets.

The chain said it prides itself on "using quality ingredients, creating innovative flavours, and delivering exceptional customer service".

Boss Pizza says it has quickly grown over the last few years and celebrated with the recent opening a new headquarters in Hamilton, Scotland.

The chain said the expansion will allow it to expand the head office team and accelerate the growth of the brand nationwide, while the new headquarters and new locations will see new jobs created across several areas.

The other nine locations to be opened will be in Aberdeen, Coatbridge, Cumbernauld, Glasgow, Hemel Hempstead, Huddersfield, Shepherds Bush (London), Luton, and Wolverhampton.

Ross Findlay, operations manager at Boss Pizza, said: "We have invested heavily in our new Head Office, a bigger support team and our distribution capabilities.

"This will really help accelerate growth across the UK and provide the franchisees the best possible support service."
