A fish and chips shop in Chadderton is still up for sale after the owner announced she has been 'forced' to take a step back for her health.
Caz's Fryday's has been a long-established chippy in Chadderton as the building itself has served up delicious fish and chips for more than 20 years on Hollinwood Avenue.
In August 2022, the chippy had a major renovation as Caz's Fryday's took over from Farrells.

However, a little more than a year later in July last year, the owner Caroline announced "with a heavy heart" that she would have to sell the premises to concentrate on her health.

Caroline said she suffered a stroke in March that year which "forced" her to make the decision as she realised "I can no longer work the long shifts that I used and need to do, due to extreme fatigue and left-side weakness the stroke has caused".
She added: "This makes it unsafe for myself.
"Also when fatigued, it affects my speech which at times is very noticeable.
"We are trying to keep the business running but with having to pay another member of staff to fill the gap I have left and all the other costs of running the shop increasing, it has become a strain physically and mentally on myself and family.
"So for the time being, the shop will remain operational - I had hoped to be open for many years to come but now this has been taken away by this stroke.
"I just want to say a big thank you to all our friends customers and staff and everyone who helped with the refurbishment to get the shop up to the highest food hygiene rating."
The chippy has since been up for sale with an asking price of £31,870.
The listing on Rightmove describes the shop as "popular" on a "busy street" with a "great takeaway menu".
There are also tables for diners to sit and eat in and the business accumulates a turnover of £89,315.
Caz's Fryday's also has a five-star hygiene rating and "a strong customer base, comprising locals, regulars and passing trade".
The listing adds: "With many reviews praising their delicious fish and chips and an established reputation in Manchester, this would be a profitable venture for an individual in the food and catering industry."
