A care agency in Oldham, which provides social work activities for elderly and disabled people, as well as a car wash in Ashton have been hit with a hefty fine for hiring illegal workers.
Bridging the Gap Ltd, which sits in the Honeywell Centre on Hadfield Street, is the latest business in the borough to be listed in the Government's quarterly round-up of companies that have been found to have hired illegal employees.
The list, which covers the period from January 1 to March 31 this year, lists just one Oldham-based company and its penalty for the breach.

The company was incorporated in May 2005 to provide domiciliary care and support to people in their own homes.
Bridging the Gap Limited supports approximately 70 people.
A Care Quality Commission (CQC) report published in 2019 rated the service as 'good' overall and 'outstanding' in one area for responsiveness.
However, the illegal working civil penalties list reveals the company has been fined £15,000 for employing illegal workers.
Nearby in Ashton-under-Lyne on Oldham Road, Ashton Hand Car Wash also faced a penalty of £15,000 for the same breach.
The company was incorporated in February 2022 and dissolved on April 16 this year.
The Home Office publishes the information every three months and releases the data into the public record four times per year.
