A man in his early 20s has been arrested on suspicion of assault after a woman was left with injuries during an incident yesterday (Sunday, September 1).
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said they were called to reports of a disturbance on Huddersfield Road at around 2.15pm, where a woman was treated for injuries.
Police said the woman's injuries are not thought to be life-changing or life-threatening.

A spokesperson for GMP said: "At 2.14pm on Sunday, September 1, we were called to reports of a disturbance on Huddersfield Road in Oldham.
"Emergency services attended and a woman was treated at the scene, thankfully her injuries are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.
"A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of Section 47 assault. He remains in police custody."
A Section 47 assault relates to assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
A spokesperson for North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) said it was called to the incident at 2.17pm and an ambulance, response vehicle and air ambulance to the scene.
NWAS said the patient was taken by road to hospital for further treatment.
North West Air Ambulance confirmed it was called to an incident in Oldham.
