1. Fox and Pine, Greaves Street, Oldham
Fox and Pine is no stranger to the people of Oldham, being a regular receiver of top industry awards year after year.
The pub has a range of craft ales an the food has traditional northern roots with home-cooked pies and sausage rolls as well as charcuterie boards.
The pub received its five-star hygiene rating on August 3 and was rated very good in all three categories of Food Hygiene and Safety, Structural Compliance, and Confidence in Management.
2. The Falconers Arms, Falcons View, Oldham
This traditional pub is situated on the corner of Falcons View and Hollins Road, boasts a 'lovely' atmosphere with 'friendly' staff, according to reviews.
The pub received its five-star food hygiene rating on July 12. It was judged to be very good for Food Hygiene and Safety and Confidence in Management, with a good rating for Structural Compliance.
3. Simply Fresh, Manchester Street, Oldham
A hybrid of a takeaway and sit-in restaurant, Simply Fresh food options include half chicken with edges charred.
There's a small seating area inside the venue and free delivery is available.

Pinchitos was awarded a five-star hygiene score on August 8. It was judged to be very good for Food Hygiene and Safety and Confidence in Management, with a good rating for Structural Compliance.
5. Bay Leaf, King Street, Delph
Based in Delph on the outskirts of Oldham, Bay Leaf serves up Indian food in its restaurant.
Another hybrid of dine-in and takeaway the restaurant has a huge range of dishes to choose from.
Bay Leaf was awarded a five-star hygiene score on July 24.
It was rated good in all three categories of Food Hygiene and Safety, Structural Compliance, and Confidence in Management.
All food hygiene inspections are carried out by Oldham Council and are accurate as of August 21.
