The company that owns a pub in Shaw has spoken out as the alehouse closed its doors following concern for a child and a woman's arrest.
The Pineapple Inn on Rochdale Road closed on Friday (August 16) due to what it described as "unforeseen circumstances".
When contacted by The Oldham Times, Greater Manchester Police confirmed officers were called out to the address at 10.44pm on Thursday (August 15) to reports of "concern for the welfare of a child".

Officers then arrested a woman in her 20s on suspicion of assault.
GMP has confirmed the woman has since been released on bail.
The Pineapple Inn apologised to customers for "any inconvenience" as it closed over the weekend.
Now, Admiral Taverns Piccadilly Ltd, a community pub group that owns The Pineapple Inn and holds its premises licence, has issued a statement saying it is "aware" of the incident and is assisting police.
The pub will also reopen again today (August 19) from 12pm.
A spokesperson for Admiral Taverns said: "We are aware of the situation at The Pineapple Inn and will be assisting the police in their investigation in any way we can.
"It would not be appropriate to comment any further at this time.
“We can confirm the pub will reopen for business today at 12pm and we look forward to welcoming customers.”
