A pub and restaurant in Oldham has officially reopened its doors under new ownership.
The Three Crowns Pub and restaurant on Huddersfield Road, Scouthead, has been temporarily closed for a few weeks to make way for a makeover and a welcome change of hands.
A couple who have run the successful The Spinners Arms pub on Woodbrook Road, Springhead, for almost eight years announced last month that they would be taking over the premises alongside their popular pub.

The Spinners Arms has gone from strength to strength with Stacey Lightfoot and Mick Wilkin at the helm, being crowned the 'best pub in Saddleworth north' at the Saddleworth Pub of the Year 2021 awards and a JW Lees 'community pub of the year' award in 2022.
The pair said they were "delighted" to be taking on another venture and for the past three weeks have been busy renovating the site.
Sneak peek previews show the pub has been scrubbed and tidied, from its carpets and upholstery to the kitchen, as the new landlords said last week: "It's starting to take shape".
Mick and Stacey said in a post on social media: "Just want to say thank you to everyone who has been helping us try and get The Three Crowns open as quickly as possible.
"There has been a lot of work to get done.
"Thanks to Justin Potter-Haslam who has cleared all the back area and beer garden and painted, Steve Lightfood and Jeanette Lightfoot who have sorted all the flowers and Jodie Whitely for helping paint.
"Thank you to everyone who has given up their time to help with the final push, especially icola Whittington who jettisoned all the decking and tables.
"We really appreciate it."
Now, the pub's doors have officially reopened as of 2pm Friday (August 16) with the "beer in", the beer garden open and the kitchen in full swing as the chefs had been prepping well in advance.
Residents and customers said they were "excited" to make a return to The Three Crowns and wished Mick and Stacey "good luck" with their new business.
