An automotive company which has five branches in Manchester, including Oldham, is on the lookout for a 'Lego obsessed teen' for a one-of-a-kind apprenticeship.
GSF Car Parts, which has branches in Oldham, Rochdale, Openshaw, Trafford and Bury, is looking to hire a teenager over the age of 13 to fill their very first 'toy car mechanic' apprenticeship role.

In return for their work, the successful candidate will be paid £5,000, receive an "unlimited supply of car building toys", including Lego, Meccano and toy-building sets and, if they wish, have a guaranteed job in the automotive industry once they turn 16.
GSF Car Parts will hire the 'toy car mechanic' to learn all the tricks of the trade through toy construction and engineering sets during the school holidays.
The role includes creating how-to guides for other children and will document their learning experiences through the brand’s TikTok account.
Applicants should be available to participate in the scheme for three months throughout the school holidays.
They must also be eager to learn, have a passion for cars and the automotive industry and be prepared to create one toy car model as well as a TikTok video about their building process each month.
Following the apprenticeship programme GSF promises to support the auto maestro throughout their school studies, and has confirmed future opportunities in the motoring industry to any successful apprentices looking to further their education in the automotive sector.

Applicants will require parental or guardian permission, but no official qualifications or prior experience is required other than a passion for cars and mechanics.
To apply, applicants should post a TikTok video explaining why they’d like the role and show a toy car model they have created, tagging @gsf__offical.
A parent or guardian should then fill out the application form on behalf of their child directly through GSF’s website.
