A motorbike rider was rescued after falling down an embankment.
Oldham Mountain Rescue Team were called by North West Ambulance Service after a motorcyclist came off their bike on the A58 near the White House, Littleborough.
The rider fell down the embankment and the ambulance crew needed assistance with getting patient up the slope to the ambulance.
As the incident was on the boundary of the team’s area, they called out their neighbours, Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue Team to assist.
The patient was secured to the ambulance scoop stretcher and team members carried the patient up the steep bank to the ambulance.
Ten Oldham Mountain Rescue Team members and 15 Rossendale & Pendle Mountain Rescue Team members were involved in the incident for an hour and a half.
