Police recovered a motorbike after spotting four men stealing it in Oldham.

GMP Oldham posted a photo of the motorbike on social media on Friday.

According to the post on social media a PC Radcliffe, of the Saddleworth North Neighbourhood Team, and a PC Peddar, of the Saddleworth West Neighbourhood Team, recovered the motorbike after spotting four men stealing it. 

The post said they pursued the suspects but it did not say if there were any arrests.

The post said: "Whilst on patrol Saddleworth North Neighbourhood Officer, PC Radcliffe, and Saddleworth West Neighbourhood Officer, PC Peddar, came across four males attempting to steal a motorbike. 

"The thieves were pursued and the bike was recovered."
