Oldham Music Service is once again showcasing the talent of their young musicians with a summer festival.
Those wanting to attend are invited to watch the live stages inside and outside of Oldham Parish Church on Rock Street.
Performances will include brass bands, guitars, orchestras, rock bands and choirs, wind bands and more.
The event will take place from 4pm on July 12 to 10am on July 13.
Oldham Music Service said the event is "the culmination of the year’s work for all of our musicians".
The organisation is council run and is committed to helping young people in the borough of Oldham achieve a future in the musical arts.
They run various groups including a special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) group.
On their website, they say: "Music can transform children’s lives and we want to work with local families, schools and other organisations to make sure that all children get the chance to play music, achieve great things and inspire others."
The group is also a founder member of the Greater Manchester Music Hub, an educational partnership with a mission to "develop inspirational partnerships between local music services and regional music organisations which enable all children, including the most vulnerable, to enjoy high-quality music-making from the earliest beginnings and to access a broad range of coherent musical pathways which promote self-confidence, ambition and achievement".
Oldham Music Service features award-winning ensemble groups which will perform at the festival.
The ensembles range in size, with the strings department having more than 100 pupils and the brass and percussion instrument one having over 250 members.
Membership works out at less than £5 per week but bursaries and financial assistance is available for families who may need it.
The group say they are committed to enabling all young people, including those most vulnerable in the borough.
