A sinkhole is developing on a major Oldham road this afternoon.
The route impacted is Park Road, near to the entrance of Alexandra Park, with a picture shared on social media today (June 27) showing a section of the middle of the road has given way, with cars and a bus nearby.
Oldham Council has confirmed the incident has been reported to them and said the local authority has officers in attendance.
The council added it is awaiting the arrival of utility companies.
The live traffic feed on Google Maps shows a build-up of traffic on the road with vehicles moving slowly.
