A one-of-a-kind pizza restaurant has announced its arrival in Oldham and hopes to rival authentic Italian pizza places seen in Manchester city centre.
Pizza Boy on Hollins Road has completed a swanky alfresco-style makeover in recent months and has been teasing what's to come in trials with residents and businesses.
The family-run restaurant said it is "proud" that Oldham "finally has its very first wood-fired oven restaurant", where they will be serving up an expansive menu of pizza, pasta "and so much more", including a full Halal menu.

Speaking to The Oldham Times, owner Shah Ali said their Pizzaiolo (chef) is "passionate about the intricacies of Neapolitan pizza" and is "dedicated to sharing his love and passion with the locals".
Mr Ali said the top chef uses only "traditional cooking methods" and the the restaurant "prides itself on maintaining its authenticity with beautiful alfresco-style decor and an ambience synonymous with Deansgate, in the heart of Manchester".
Eager residents who have already taste-tested the place have reportedly praised the "hidden gem" restaurant for its quality, affordability and its recent five-star food hygiene rating.
Mr Ali continued: "It really is exciting - it's something new and a breath of fresh air for Oldham and our food scene.
"We've been trialling with the local residents and businesses who have supported us, and opened their eyes to what real pizza should taste like without having to go to Naples Italy!
"We would like to welcome everyone to enjoy the full range of toppings and flavours, from your traditional Margherita to spicy Nduja and a gourmet truffle pizza.
"There's something to tickle all the tastebuds."
Diners can now walk in or book a table online on its website - and deliveries may be an option in the future.
