A car overturned in an early morning crash involving two vehicles in Chadderton.

Emergency services were in attendance in the early hours of today (Wednesday) following the collision.

The car was flipped after being involved in a crash on Old Lane near the Colliers Arms pub. 

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “At around 5.10am today (Wednesday 19 June), two fire engines from Hollins and Chadderton fire stations attended a crash involving two cars on Old Lane, Chadderton.

“Firefighters assisted Greater Manchester Police in making the vehicles and surrounding area safe and were in attendance for around 10 minutes.”

Images posted to Facebook show the overturned car in the road, close to homes on the street with police and fire crews in attendance.

Greater Manchester Police has been approached for comment but has not yet responded.

North West Ambulance Service has also been contacted for comment.
