Photographs of the scene show there is at least one affected vehicle.

The front of the car appears badly damaged and has been left on the grass by the side of the driveway.

There also appear to be tyre marks or a trail from the road and up the pavement towards the grass and where the damaged car sits.

The property was cordoned off while a team of emergency services, including firefighters, police, Electricity North West and Cadent Gas, surveyed the home for its structural safety.

The fire service confirmed a crew from Chadderton was called out to the scene to make the car and the surrounding area safe.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: "Crews arrived quickly to make the vehicle safe and assisted Greater Manchester Police in cordoning the area.

"Fire crews worked with Oldham Council, Electricity North West and Cadent Gas to ensure safety of the property.

"Crews departed after approximately one hour and 20 minutes in attendance.”

When contacted by The Oldham Times, Greater Manchester Police said the force has had "practically no involvement".

The North West Ambulance Service has also been contacted for comment.
