Applications have been lodged to adjust the times which two different 3G pitches in Oldham can be in use.
The applications relate to the artificial pitches at Yew Tree Community School in Chadderton and the future pitch at Little Wembley, which is being developed after plans were approved in December.
Both applications are looking to extend the hours which the pitches can be used, and will be decided by the planning committee when they meet on Wednesday (May 5).
The pitch at Yew Tree Community School, on Alcester Street, can currently be used between 8am and 5.30pm on weekdays, but the application is looking for the pitch to operate between 9am and 9.30pm each day of the week.
In January, the planning committee approved plans to install LED floodlights at the pitch so it could operate during later hours.
Now, it will decide if the pitch can indeed extend its operating hours, with the application saying the pitch would be used by the school and wider community.

Seven comments have been left on the application, all of which object to the plans, with the main concerns centring around noise, light pollution and parking during the evenings.
The second application looks at the artificial pitch which will be developed at Little Wembley.
When the application to develop the pitch was approved, the committee decided the pitch could be used between 9am and 9pm on weekdays, while on Saturdays it could operate between 10am and 6pm and between 10am and 9pm on Sunday.
Now, the Oldham Athletic are looking for the pitch to be able to operate from 9am on weekends instead of 10am.
When the plans for the pitch were approved, the committee heard from residents who were concerned about the operating hours of the pitch and the approved times were amended from the original ones.
Now, it looks like the pitch could be used from earlier on weekends, as the plans have been recommended for approval, as have the plans for the pitch operating hours at Yew Tree Community School.
