A JD Sports store in Oldham is opening a newly increased shop this weekend with shoppers able to make use of special offers.
Back in November, an application was approved to expand the JD shop at Elk Mill Shopping Centre in Royton.
JD is one of the leading sports fashion brands in the UK and has two locations in Oldham, with the other one being based at Spindles Shopping Centre.
Now, the Elk Mill store is set to reopen on Saturday (June 1) following its expansion, with special offers available to shoppers over the weekend.
The shop has seen a 39 per cent expansion to 6,657 square feet, with JD hoping it will offer "an enhanced product proposition for consumers" with a larger range of products available.

Across the weekend, DJs will be playing music, while shoppers are encouraged to have a go at the JD Batak game, which involves pressing buttons on a machine to test one's reactions.
Each day, the shopper who manages to hit the most buttons within the allotted timeframe will win a £50 JD voucher.
Meanwhile, shoppers who buy a pair of shoes will be given the option to have custom laces and lace ends added to their new footwear, an offer only available to shoppers at the store this weekend.
The proposal to revamp and expand the site was approved by Oldham Council after it was determined that it would not have an impact on the design or appearance on the external building.
Along with the improvements to the store, JD says the expansion has created 12 new jobs, which was highlighted by an council planning officer when the planning application was submitted.
