A revamped McDonald's menu is set to be trialled in Oldham – with four brand new items.

The trial of the updated Happy Meal menu is happening exclusively in the North West.

Fans of the fast food chain will be among the first to try the Mayo Chicken, an iconic staple of the Saver Menu, as part of the updated Happy Meal menu.

They will also get to taste the new Fish Bites: five bite-sized pollock pieces in a crisp panko breadcrumb coating and served with a choice of dip. They will also be available in a serving of nine as a side on the main menu.

Then, customers can sample new flavoured milk along with their Happy Meal. The choice of flavours includes chocolate, strawberry and banana.

And finally, the McFreezy is the latest arrival to the Happy Meal. The frozen ice dessert is made with fruit juice and puree – and is available in either mango and pineapple, or orange flavour.

The trial is set to last for 14 weeks from May 29.
