A police warning has been issued after two men were reportedly "trying car doors" in Oldham.
Greater Manchester Police have urged residents to be "extra vigilant" after two men were allegedly attempting to open car doors and walking up driveways on Borrowdale Close, in Royton.
Residents in the area have been asked to check doorbell footage captured yesterday (May 14), in the early hours of the morning.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Borrowdale Close Area, Royton. Two males trying car doors and walking up driveways, early hours 14/05/24.
"Be extra vigilant and remember to lock up and alarm your property.
"If you have CCTV / Ring Doorbell please check it regularly."
Those with footage should report any suspicious activity to the police by dialling 101. Alternatively, to pass information on anonymously, call independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
