A yellow weather warning has been issued for Oldham this weekend, with thunderstorms set to bring rainfall and potential disruption.
The warning issued by the Met Office, which lasts between 12pm and 10pm on Sunday (May 12), will see "heavy showers" which could lead to flooding and travel disruption.
The Met Office said the thunderstorms and heavy downpours are likely to break out in the south during the late morning and early afternoon on Sunday. before moving north as the day goes on.
As these showers and thunderstorms move north, they will grow into larger areas of rain before clearing the area.

The Met Office added that some "intense downpours" could see up to 30 mm of rain in less than hour in some places and possibly 40-50 mm over two or three hours, leading to surface water flooding.
The warning has been issued across the entire North West, as well as most of Wales, Staffordshire, the West Midlands and the South West.
According to the Met Office, people can expect the following:
- Spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures
- Where flooding or lightning strikes occur, there is a chance of delays and some cancellations to train and bus services
- There is a slight chance that power cuts could occur and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost
- There is a small chance of fast flowing or deep floodwater causing danger to life, particularly in places such as road and railway underpasses.
- There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds
