Fire services were in attendance after a driver crashed into multiple parked cars in Chadderton before flipping their vehicle.
Video posted by local residents on Facebook shows a black car ploughing into multiple parked vehicles on a quiet Chadderton street before flipping over in the middle of the road.
Residents who recorded the incident say the crash occurred just after 5.30am this morning (Thursday, May 9) on Middleton Road, near the Inglewood Road side street.
Video of the incident shows debris strewn across the road as tired residents look on in disbelief.
It has been reported that police are investigating the crash and trying to ascertain the identity of the driver, though Greater Manchester Police did not respond to The Oldham Times’ request for comment.
Fire services are understood to have attended the incident.
On Facebook, one resident commented: “Hate to say it but we need a speed camera there!! The speed some people go down that bit of road is crazy!!! Worried about kids crossing the road.”
Another commented: “Awful, I have contacted the police twice due to the speed of cars on Middleton Road and Chadderton Hall Road.”
