A Mediterrean-themed bar and coffeehouse has officially opened its doors in the heart of Saddleworth's picturesque Uppermill village which the owners hope will bring 'something a bit different' to the area.
The bar, called No.30 Uppermill in reference to its position at number 30 on High Street, formally opened its doors to the public on Saturday, May 4.
The owners, married couple Sophie and Bryn Gater, took over the former Weaver & Wilde coffeehouse earlier this year, and have given the premises a beautiful Mediterranean-themed makeover to serve up a selection of wines, beers, spirits and coffee.

Speaking to The Oldham Times, Sophie said their launch week has been "brilliant" and "busy" with great feedback from customers already.
She added: "It's something a bit different for Uppermill.
"We were inspired by a sort of Spanish theme - like the types of wine bars you get abroad where they serve up little nibbles."
The owner, who has embarked on the new venture and had a "complete career change" after working as a dog walker and a youth worker, teased more plans are also in the pipeline for No.30, including nibbles, sharing platters and cheese boards within the next month, plus possibly pizzas and a wood burner fire for Christmas.
Sophie added: "It's been nonstop, but good nonstop.
"Customers are really impressed with the interior and the feel of it.
"The vibe is really good and it's something that we haven't got in Uppermill - a comfortable bar that's not too loud.
"It's predominately a wine bar but we have got everything else. We're well stocked with gins, but we have five white wines and five reds, and rose, but we're looking to extend that.
"We just don't seem to have that choice in Uppermill - we do at restaurants but not in bars.
"It's just a nice, cosy vibe."
Sneak peek pictures of the new bar reveal the premises has had a swanky makeover with plush dark leather bar stools and elegant decor, from stained glass lampshades and an elaborate detailed bar with a black marble top.
In keeping with its warm Spanish vibe, the once bright yellow door has been painted dark red.
The bar is also dog-friendly and has a terrace for drinkers to sit in the front when it's sunny.
No.30 is currently open from Thursday to Sunday, from 4pm until 9pm in the week, and 1pm until 10pm on Saturday and Sunday, though the owners hope to extend its licencing hours and open on Wednesdays as well when it is serving food.
