Vrbo has warned UK travellers to book their summer holiday 'no later' than this deadline and it's very soon. 

The holiday home experts have urged families and groups to book holiday homes for the summer break no later than June 8 so that they have the best choice of properties available.

Whether it's a sun-soaked staycation or a getaway overseas, travellers have been encouraged not to wait too long to book.

The warning comes as Expedia breaks down the cheapest days to book and fly for a holiday this summer.

When it comes to price, the cheapest days to fly within the UK are reportedly July 28 and August 19 and 23.

For those looking to go abroad, Expedia recommends flying internationally on June 2 and 13 June and August 28 for the cheapest prices. 

And if you're looking to book your summer break when the airports are a little quieter, Expedia has also shared some key data about when they are the least busy.

According to Expedia's data, the least busy days to fly domestically this summer are June 10 and July 11 and 19.

Meanwhile, the experts recommend flying on June 4 and August 27 and 30 internationally for quieter experiences.

The most expensive days to fly in the UK this summer are June 30 and July 8 and 16, according to Expedia's data.

When it comes to international flights, the most expensive days to fly are reportedly July 22, 23 and 29.

Expedia has also shared some top tips on how to save money when booking your flight.

If you're jetting off domestically,  the travel experts recommend booking your flight for a Wednesday since this could save you 20% compared to flying at the weekend.

For international flights, you could save 15% by booking your flight for a Thursday rather than flying at the weekend.

Other top tips to help you save when booking your flights include setting up flight alerts and choosing a morning flight.
