Drivers in and around Oldham will have six National Highways road closures to watch out for over the next two weeks.

It has been said that four of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• M60, from 9pm March 4 to 5am May 3, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 both directions, junction 21 to junction 23 - carriageway closure for white lining/road markings on behalf of National Highways.

• A627(M), from 8pm April 15 to 8pm May 11, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A663 both directions A663 Broadway / Middleton Road to A627(M) - carriageway closure for construction improvement/upgrade.

Meanwhile, a further four closures will begin either this week and next week, and are as follows:

• M62, from 9pm May 1 to 5am May 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 westbound, junction 22 to junction 22 - carriageway closure for construction - bridge/structure.

• M62, from 8pm May 7 to 6am May 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 eastbound and westbound, junction 22 to junction 23, slip road and lane closure for inspection/survey works, diversion via local authority and National Highways networks.

• A663, from 9.30am to 3pm on May 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663 northbound, opposite the fire Station lane closure due to replacement of manhole frame and cover.

• A663, from 8pm May 12 to 5am May 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A663 both directions M60 to Middleton Road - carriageway closure for horticulture (cutting and planting).
