A pub in Oldham which banned digital devices, swearing and music is reportedly reopening again this week after a lengthy closure.
The Commercial Inn alehouse on Smallbrook Road and Wrens Nest in Shaw mysteriously closed towards the end of 2022, with no explanation being made public for the sudden closure.
Reacting to the news on social media last year, residents said it was a "shame" it had closed though some said higher prices after lockdown and strict rules were driving customers away.
The pub was operated by the independent brewery, Samuel Smith, which proudly states on its website: "Our pubs are havens from the digital world - there are no TVs or background music.

"The use of mobile phones, laptops and other tech is not allowed in our pubs.
"Friendly pub conversation is encouraged (no swearing!) together with the responsible enjoyment of our beers."
The brewery also ensures its pubs only stock Samuel Smith's own beer and cider.
Now, it appears the pub will be reopening this week.
A notice posted to the I Love Shaw Facebook page reads: "The Commerical pub (Wrens Nest) is opening on Thursday, May 2."
Residents across Shaw say they are looking forward to its return, describing it as a "good pub" and "good news".
Chloe Alderslade wrote: "I am absolutely over the moon. Bank holiday Monday, be straight in there."
However, while it remains unclear if Samuel Smith is still behind the pub, some residents urged the landlord to "get with the times".
Susan Laura said: "These Sam Smith's need to get with the times, or they will all close.
"People use bad language. They go on their phones.
"Little background music would be nice."
Brent Pollitt agreed: "Old fashioned ideals don't work these days. People use their phones for all sorts.
"What's the difference between reading a paper or a kindle? I don't go into pubs because of that reason."
Others were also keen to know the pub's opening times, the cost of beer and the new manager as they said they had been waiting "for the re-opening for months and months" with no news.
Samuel Smith's brewery has been contacted for comment.
