A team of volunteers from Oldham rescued four 'disorientated' and cold walkers who had lost phone signal.
On Wednesday (April 3) this week, Oldham Mountain Rescue Team (OMRT) were called by police to help with a rescue mission.
A group of four walkers who were trekking from Marsden to Hadfield had reportedly become disorientated in the low cloud near Featherbed Moss.

The crew sprung into action and were dispatched to Chew Reservoir in its Land Rovers.
The team then made their way on foot across the moor to the last known position of the mobile phone signal.
The group was then found near Featherbed Moss trig point.
However, they had become so cold while waiting for help that OMRT provided another layer of warm clothing and assisted them to their waiting rescue cars to take them back to base.
There, the group had hot drinks and food while further checks were made by Casualty Carers to ensure they had warmed up.
The group were then free to complete their journey, "this time in a warm car", OMRT added.
The mission took two and a half hours and involved 15 team members.
