With Mother's Day coming up tomorrow, some people might be making some last minute plans on how to spend the day in Oldham.
The Met Office is forecasting some light rain in the morning, so it may not be the ideal day for a hike or long walk, but it could be a good day for a lovely meal.
Here are some ideas on for where to take your mother for a meal on the day celebrating all that mums do for us.
The White Hart Inn at Lydgate
The Saddleworth pub, which recently celebrated its second Michelin Guide recognition, is offering its delicious Sunday roasts to guests tomorrow.
Why not treat your mum to a fantastic roast dinner in a lovely setting in the borough.
The pub is also just a stone's throw from what what could be the birthplace of the women's suffrage movement in Britain, and you can even look at the newly unveiled plaque at St Anne's Church across the road.
Booking can be made either by emailing bookings@thewhitehart.co.uk or calling 01457872566.
The Roebuck Inn
Another Saddleworth pub, the Roebuck Inn is offering a Mother's Day menu, which includes a roast dinner, as well as other main courses.
Guests can pay £30 for a three course meal, with a wide range of starts and desserts on offer.
Children can dine for £15 each.
Book by either calling 0161 624 7819 or going on the pub's website.
Bengal Curry Pot Shaw
If a pub dinner isn't what tickles your fancy, a curry house in Shaw is offering a Mother's Day deal.
Diners can get a three course meal for £17.95 per head, with children under the age of 10 able to eat for £7.95.
There are three seatings on the day: 4pm, 6pm and 8pm.
If you've braved a long walk or just fancy staying in, Bengal Curry Pot is offering a three course takeaway meal for £13,95 per head.
To book, call either 01706 534326.
Caribbean Kitchen Oldham
If you fancy staying in and enjoying some Caribbean food, then Caribbean Kitchen Oldham will have you covered.
They're offering Jerk Lamb Leg and Garlic and Herb Roast Chicken, along with a soft vanilla sponge, served with custard, for dessert.
Food can only be pre-ordered by 6pm today and can be done by messaging them on Facebook.
