A primary school in Chadderton where pupils are "happy" and "kind" has been crowned 'good' for more than a decade by education watchdog Ofsted.
Stanely Road Primary School on Derby Street teaches more than 400 children aged between three and 11 and has been rated a 'good' school by the education watchdog.
In January this year, Ofsted inspectors Claire Cropper, Alex Keane and David Thompson visited the premises and described the school as "calm", "diverse" and "friendly" where pupils are happy and kind to each other.

The pupils strive to follow the "Stanley Road Way" in all that they do, the report continues, as they are polite, respectful, behave well and play or chat sociably during playtimes.
The Ofsted team said the school particularly excels in helping students from overseas to settle as well as supporting pupils where English is an additional language.
Reading is "central to the school's curriculum" as children become familiar with texts, stories and rhymes as soon as they start.
The report added: "This provides a strong start for children to learn how to use phonics to read words from the Reception Year.
"By the end of key stage 1, most pupils can read with accuracy and fluency. Pupils in key stage 2 build on this secure foundation well."
The curriculum is another major strength of the school as the inspectors said it is "clearly defined", "ambitious" and "well-organised", allowing pupils to progress and build on their knowledge as they move through nursery to Year 6.
Beyond the curriculum, the pupils also benefit from a range of trips, including to the beach and museums, and join in clubs such as gymnastics and multiplication club.
They also enjoy a wide range of experiences which broaden their understanding of the wider world, and the support at the school helps them to develop self-belief, independence and resilience.
The report added: "These positive attributes prepare them well for the challenges they may face in later life."
The Ofsted team graded the school "good" in all five areas of criteria and means the school has kept up its high rating for more than 10 years.
The school was graded "satisfactory" in 2010 but made significant improvements by 2013 when it received its first "good" grade.
However, to improve the current grade even further, the inspectors said the school should address any gaps in pupil's knowledge in some subjects, such as reading.
In addition, while reading stood out as a positive in the report, Ofsted said a "small number of pupils" could benefit with additional support to catch up and found some teachers "do not identify the gaps in some pupils' phonic knowledge well enough".
The team advised: "The school should ensure that teachers receive support and guidance so that they can identify and address gaps in pupils’ learning consistently well."
