A woman who shouted verbal and racial abuse at Royal Oldham Hospital before spitting at a security guard has been sentenced.
Billy Jo Cartwright, of Nevis Street, Rochdale, was at the hospital on January 20 last year when she carried out her offending.
The 24-year-old shouted abuse at both staff and members of the public present in the hospital.
This abuse included the racially aggravated harassment of a woman and threatening another woman.
When a security guard intervened, Cartwright spat at him.

At Tameside Magistrates' Court on February 5, she appeared after having pleaded guilty to racially aggravated harassment, using threatening words/behaviour and assault.
Cartwright was handed a 12-month community order, requiring her to attend 25 days of rehabilitation activity requirement.
She was also ordered to pay a fine of £120, which was uplifted from £80 due to the fact she committed a racial hate crime, as well as being ordered to pay compensation of £150 and a victim surcharge of £75.
