A 'smash burgers' takeaway in Shaw has announced it will be closing its doors, just weeks after opening.
Cotton Mill Grill, which took over the former Jo Jay Rees Cafe in Market Street, Shaw, was opened in December last year by a head chef and hospitality pro.
Phil, from Chadderton, has worked as a chef for more than a decade and was the head chef at the Smoke Yard restaurant in Oldham town centre when it opened.

Meanwhile, Kirsty has worked in hospitality for more than 20 years, running both pubs and restaurants in her career.
The pair were excited to open the doors to "Shaw's very own home of the smash burger" and for the past two months, the takeaway has proved a hit with customers.
However, on Saturday (February 17), the takeaway announced on social media Cotton Mill Grill is closing, citing issues from electrical problems, finances and "permissions".
The notice read: "It is with a heavy heart that we will not be reopening the doors of the Cotton Mill Grill again.
"We have had many issues from the word go that has put us under a lot of financial stress, plumbing, electrical and now permissions.
"We should have gone into this a little better prepared, but we live and learn."
Reacting to the news, customers said they were "absolutely gutted" and described the food as "delicious and a refreshing change".
Another wrote: "You were by far the best takeout place so far. I really hope you open again soon."
Despite the shock announcement, the takeaway bosses added: "This is not the last you will hear from the Cotton Mill Grill.
"Thank you to all our customers for your support."
