A trio of residents in Oldham and Ashton have been arrested on suspicion of supplying cannabis as 'morning warrants' uncovered the drug and thousands of pounds of cash at an address.
Early this morning (February 14) police carried out warrants on Taurus Street, Oldham, and Laburnum Avenue, Ashton, where three people were arrested.
The men, aged 24 and 26, and a woman, aged 21, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cannabis and remain in custody for questioning.

While at the Oldham premises, Greater Manchester Police said officers uncovered a "small quantity of cannabis" and approximately £3,000 in cash.
The arrests come as the force says it is cracking down on organised crime across Greater Manchester's districts through Operation Challenger.
The disruption work hopes to highlight the presence of officers in the community - and remind those suspected of being involved in criminality that they can "expect a knock at the door".
Sergeant Ian Parker, from GMP’s Challenger team, said: “If we receive information about criminality in our community, we will always act.
"In this case, it was a nice early morning knock-on for the residents.
“While not everything will result in the hugest finds, it all counts towards the greater intelligence picture, which helps us keep tackling criminality day in, day out.
"Our work is vital to ensuring that we get drugs and dangerous criminals off the street and prevent them from causing harm in our towns.
“I have a simple message to the people of Tameside and Oldham: if you have a concern, please do tell us.
"Lots of people coming and going from a house, or suspicious behaviour that you think is just plain wrong - if you tell us, we can begin to put together the appropriate response and act on it when necessary."
Reports can be made to police by calling 101 or visiting the GMP website, gmp.police.co.uk.
