A man from Oldham has been charged and is due to appear before court after being found with drugs and a shotgun.

Emran Hussain of Castleford Street in Chadderton has been charged with three offences, including possession of a shortened shotgun.

Greater Manchester Police say Hussain has also been charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

In a post on social media, the force said the 30-year-old has been remanded in custody.

He is due to appear at Manchester Magistrates Court tomorrow (Saturday, February 10).
