Residents in Saddleworth might have received their parcel late this week after an Amazon delivery van was found 'stuck' and 'abandoned' down a narrow towpath.
On Tuesday (February 6), residents in Uppermill found an Amazon van had become lodged on a towpath, Dark Lane, just off Ladcastle Road.
The van was seemingly abandoned as Matha Littlewood stumbled into its path a full 24 hours later when out riding her horse.

Ms Littlewood said it looked like the van had become "wedged" against a tree.
She added: "Nancy knew it shouldn't have been there. We missed out on a canter up the hill."
Although a spokesperson for Amazon confirmed the truck has since been removed, residents across Saddleworth say it wasn't the first time delivery drivers have had difficulty navigating the roads - and some posted jokes about the situation.
Others called for better signage and improved satnavs, with many sharing anecdotes that maps of the village have often led unfamiliar drivers down canal paths and narrow streets where they have similarly become stuck.
They claim homes in Saddleworth are often up dirt paths that aren't fit for vans and cars.
However, one man wrote: "Signage? Surely the brain would kick in and think, 'Hmm, that doesn't look suitable for my van, all covered in leaves and mud'.
"People want to stop blindly following a satnav and open their eyes."
Another added: "Seriously, the top of Dark Lane has never resembled a road ever, in my lifetime."
A woman also claimed it had happened to her in the past, writing: "The satnav took me down Uppermill canal towpath. Was not funny at the time, now it's a real good giggle."
However, many found the humour in the situation, writing: "Whoops!", "give it a shove!" and "I'll get up there with my crowbar".
A resident said to Ms Littlewood and her horse: "You may be better loading the parcels up on your steed and delivering them yourself".
"You can't park there - good luck, driver", wrote another.
A spokesperson for Amazon said: "We’ve worked with our delivery service provider to remove the vehicle."
