A hunt for a driver has been launched after a child was taken to hospital with 'serious' injuries after being hit by a car in Oldham.
Shortly before 2.30pm yesterday (February 8), emergency services were called to Hollins Road in Oldham after reports a car crashed into a pedestrian.
The victim, a 14-year-old, suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police say the driver of the car "failed" to remain at the scene.
Greater Manchester Police is now appealing for more information about the crash and the driver.
Inquiries are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from any witnesses or residents nearby who may have seen anything or have captured anything on CCTV or dashcam footage at the time.
