A Great British Bake Off-style event raised a stunning sum for The Christie at a packed-out pub last weekend.
Vicky Moorfield arranged the fundraiser after she received the all-clear from cancer at the hospital in Withington.
On Saturday a Great British Bake Off-style event, or the Great Royton Bake Off, raised around £2500 for The Christie at The Greyhound. There also a number of stalls and a tombola.
The judges for the fundraiser, for which there was an amateur category and a professional category, were councillors for Royton North Christine Adams, Dave Arnott and Lewis Quigg.
Ms Moorfield said: "Thank you to each and every one of you who supported the 'Cuppa for the Christie'. All your support contributed to raising a massive £2500 and I had a target in my mind of £500.
"Thank you to The Greyhound for letting us use the pub, Carlo DePetrillo for the sponsorship and all my family and friends who helped out on the day."
