Video footage shows the moment a car 'smashed' into a wall in Chadderton and the suspected driver was chased on foot by a police officer.
At 12.06am on Thursday, February 1, a car crashed into the old Chadderton Library on Middleton Road.
Dramatic CCTV footage of the incident shows the car was being seemingly being pursued by an undercover police vehicle on a 20mph road moments before the crash.

Flashing blue lights and sirens can be seen and heard in the video.
Seconds later, the car ploughs through the perimeter wall of the former library building.
Immediately after the crash, the footage then seems to show the driver attempting to run away from the scene.
They are then followed on foot by a police officer and another video shows the pair running down Middleton Road.
The footage shows the officer managed to catch up to the driver.
Residents in Chadderton claim they heard the crash from streets away.
A photograph of the aftermath also shows the fence and wall outside the old library building has been severely damaged.
Greater Manchester Police has been approached for comment.
