Oldhamers are celebrating the return of a popular Caribbean takeaway after the venture mysteriously closed last year.
Caribbean Kitchen Oldham is a family-run business which offers authentic Jamaican food that is cooked in-house "every day".
But after more than three years in business, the popular takeaway seemingly disappeared by the end of 2022.

Instead, its operations moved to Yaardies takeaway in Manchester in summer last year, though it still delivered to Oldham households keen for their Jamaican food fix on a pre-order basis.
The takeaway, which also had a five-star food and hygiene rating, is popular for its twist on a Sunday dinner.
The dish is comprised of either boneless jerk chicken or minted lamb which is stacked on creamy mashed potato, roast potatoes, steamed vegetables, plantain, corn on the cob, a Yorkshire pudding and a tub of gravy.
Now, in a post on social media, bosses at the takeaway announced it will be reopening its Oldham store this year.
The post read: "Due to popular demand, we have taken the decision to reopen in Oldham.
"Chef will still be doing the cooking down at Yaardies MCR, but Caribbean Kitchen will be our main focus.
"More information will be posted as soon as we have a date confirmed.
"We can’t wait to be back."
Residents have also been celebrating the announcement, calling it "fantastic news" and "happy days".
A woman added: "Good, I work in Oldham again and curry goat for lunch is exactly what I need."
Others said they "can't wait" for it to come back, writing that they look forward to "jerk Sunday dinners again" and "some of Patrick's peppered steak".
"They're back", another loyal customer wrote, while another said: "Thank god!"
