A pub in Oldham welcomed a 'very special visitor' this week as the Weatherspoons chairman stopped by to meet and greet staff.
On Wednesday, (January 10) The Shay Wake which straddles Milnrow Road and Beal Road in Shaw was visited by the Wetherspoons boss and businessman, Sir Tim Martin.
While the manager at The Shay Wake was tight-lipped about the big day, residents across Shaw took to social media to discuss Tim's visit - and one particular staff member has been the talk of the town ever since.

A customer said Sir Tim is "a great business model".
He explained: "We love the fact he takes so many old, listed buildings and retains their charm and former glory.
"A Spoons always brings trade to a town or village centre, including business for other nearby pubs.
"Gotta love a Spoons."
A woman added: "Love the guy. I'm sure you were all sat in one of his pubs getting cheap beer and not complaining.
"Shay Wake is a good communal pub for Shaw."
Many had praise for the bartender at the pub, named locally as Dan, who managed to snap a picture with Tim.
A resident wrote: "Tim Martin, I can take or leave, but Danny is the real star in this picture."
Another woman said: "I hope he gave him a pay rise whilst there. What a lovely guy and credit to you as an employee, along with all the staff there, of course.
"So friendly."
Others described Dan as a "top lad" and a "legend" and extended their praise to the rest of the team for their service.
Bescoby Jewellers, a jewellery company in Shaw, also said the pub is "amazing" for the area and that the pub is "made even better by their amazing staff".
"Well done, Dan", the shop posted.
