A total of 26 different roadworks are set to go ahead in Oldham this week as the country prepares for Chrsitmas – much lower than in previous weeks, which have seen as many as 90 scheduled.
According to official notices, of the 26 works planned in the latest weekly update, 22 are being carried out by IX Wireless. The three other works are being carried out by Electricity North West, Openreach, and Oldham Council.
One road closure has been scheduled in the borough, for roadworks by Oldham Council.
No lane closures are scheduled.
Temporary traffic lights have been scheduled for three different works across the borough, while roads will be narrowed to single file traffic for 23 different works.
