A milkman and his dog who were reportedly attacked while on their delivery round in Oldham last month are being celebrated for returning back to work.
At approximately 2am on Wednesday, November 29, a delivery driver from McLintock's Dairy in Denshaw was reportedly attacked on Shaw Hall Bank Road in Greenfield.
It was thought that the milkman was "followed" from Uppermill and was forced to stop when a driver got in front and "slammed his brakes on".

During a heated exchange, McLintock's Dairy said the individual then started "smashing milk bottles and throwing them at the driver".
The driver sustained "heavy cuts" to his hands in the ordeal and had to seek medical attention.
Now, the man and his dog are being celebrated by McLintock's Dairy for returning to work just 10 days after the harrowing incident.
The driver typically delivers milk to customers' doorsteps across Greenfield, Mossley and Royton.
In a post on social media, the dairy farm said it was "delighted" to inform customers that the pair have come back, though the man is "understandably shaken with some cuts and bruises following the incident".
However, the dairy farm added: "Nothing keeps this man down.
"Matt wants us to pass on his heartfelt thanks for all your get-well wishes, they have been a beacon of support."
McLintock's also revealed their employee, who has worked as a milkman for more than seven years, was attacked at around 2am but carried on with his round until 5am as he "simply didn't want to let his customers down".
"A true reflection of his character and dedication - we don't know where we'd be without him", they added.
Greater Manchester Police said an investigation had been launched after it received a report of criminal damage on Shaw Hall Bank Road in Greenfield.
While the force said at the time no arrests had been made, the incident has since been closed due to "insufficient evidence".
