A collection of six rock and pop groups, aged between 10 to 17 years old, from Oldham Music Service took to the Whittles at Tokyo stage for the showdown including Bleach, Best of Zest, TJR, Anomaly and Mirus.

But it was Sheep in Wolves Clothing, who study at Saddleworth School, who impressed the judge, DJ Dave Sweetmore, with their performance.
Now, the winning group will go on to represent Oldham at the final battle at Manchester Academy on March 17 next year.
The finale will see bands and acts from across the region perform for a chance to be crowned the best in Greater Manchester.
Andrew Wilson, subject leader of Oldham Music Service, said the event was "really well supported" and saw "fantastic performances throughout the afternoon".
He extended his thanks to Lisa and Martin Standley at Whittles for providing the venue and for giving the youngsters an opportunity to perform to a live audience.
Meanwhile, Dave Sweetmore said it was a "really tough decision" to judge the winning act but the pupils pipped the others to the post for having "that extra bit of stage quality that made them more memorable".
The Standley's, who took over the iconic music venue in summer, said they were "pleased" to have hosted this year's inaugural battle of the bands for Oldham students.
