A woman in her 30s has been taken to hospital following a crash on a road near Failsworth.
The woman, who was a pedestrian, was hit by a car this morning.
North West Ambulance Service received a call to the incident at 9am.

A North West Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We took a woman in her 30s to the hospital following a collision involving a pedestrian and a car.
“Ambulance, response vehicle, air ambulance and advanced paramedic all attended.”

North West Air Ambulance charity has been contacted for more information.
Greater Manchester Police's press office said it would not be commenting on the crash as it had not been informed about it by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit or the Force Duty Officer.
The B6393, or Thorp Road, had been taped off near the junction with Oldham Road, with traffic stopped in both directions.
Cones and ‘no entry’ signs were blocking the road, which is located near GMP headquarters, from being accessed by road users from Oldham Road.
