Oldhamers have woken up to a dusting of the white stuff across the borough, despite the forecast.
Residents in parts of the borough including Fitton Hill, Shaw and Saddleworth have snapped photos of the dusting, which fell late last night.
Councillor Louie Hamblett was one of those to snap the snow in High Crompton.

He said: “A little dusting of snow up in hills is nothing unusual this time of year.
“People, of course, will adjust and take their time when walking around.
“If there is a grit bin nearby, please do use them for the footpaths, and don't forget to look out for council's newly named gritters, as I'm sure they'll be hard at work making sure our roads are as clear as possible.”
Oldham Council has confirmed that the new gritters have been out this morning.

The snow comes despite forecasts. While the borough was predicted freezing temperatures, the Met Office did not predict any snow at all this week.
BBC Weather, which gets its weather data from MeteoGroup, did predict snow – but it was not expected to hit most of the borough until the weekend.
The broadcaster’s forecast had been predicting light snow in Saddleworth this afternoon as recently as yesterday, but the forecast has now been revised to show sunny intervals turning to partly cloudy.

The snow marks the first time the borough has seen the white stuff this winter.
In March, more than 70 schools across the borough were closed due to the conditions.
According to the Met Office, those looking to drive in snow should use dipped headlights, accelerate gently, and start in second gear in order to stay safe.
Maintaining a safe and steady speed while keeping distance from other vehicles is also recommended by the weather agency, with steering into skids recommended.
People are also advised to keep a supply of blankets, warm clothing, torches, batteries, and candles in the event they are cut off.
