A milkman was reportedly attacked in the early hours of the morning while on his delivery round in Oldham.
At approximately 2am on Wednesday (November 29), a delivery driver from McLintock's Dairy in Denshaw was allegedly attacked on Shaw Hall Bank Road in Greenfield.
It is believed the milkman was "followed" from Uppermill and was forced to stop when a driver got in front and "slammed his brakes on".

During a heated exchange, McLintock's Dairy said the individual then started "smashing milk bottles and throwing them at the driver".
The incident occurred near Saddleworth Rangers ARLFC.
In a statement on social media, the Saddleworth dairy farm said the driver has worked for the company for more than seven years and described him as "a very responsible and respectful person".
The delivery was disrupted after the incident as customers in Mossley and the Stockport Road areas were encouraged to "be patient" and that they would receive their milk later on.
The driver sustained "heavy cuts" to his hands in the ordeal and has since sought medical attention.
It is unclear if the incident was reported to the police but McLintock's Dairy is now appealing to the public for anyone who may have witnessed the assault or who may have footage to come forward.
