Snow has been forecast for Oldham this week with temperatures set to reach -3C.
According to BBC Weather, which uses data from MeteoGroup, snow will hit the town centre on Saturday, December 2 and Sunday, December 3.
Sleet is also forecast by the broadcaster on Tuesday, December 5.
The area was last buffeted by snow in March, when more than 70 schools across the borough were closed due to the white stuff.

Not every weather source agrees with the BBC forecast.
The Met Office has forecast a sunny day on Saturday and a cloudy day on Sunday.
According to the BBC, the snow will hit Oldham from 8am on Saturday, with a temperature of -2C, continuing until 10am.
Temperatures are also forecast to plummet to -3C overnight throughout this week.

The snow will then come back in the afternoon, from 1pm until 7pm, when the weather turns cloudy.
The snow will then re-start from 1am on Sunday, continuing until Sunday afternoon, according to the BBC forecast.

In Saddleworth, the broadcaster is predicting light snow in the afternoon on Thursday, November 30, in addition to the snow forecast on the weekend.
The Met Office also contradicts this, with cloudy weather forecast for Uppermill on Thursday, sunny weather on Saturday, and cloudy weather again on Sunday.
If snow does appear, it’ll be the first time snow has been seen in the borough this winter.
