Several independent shops in Uppermill have joined forces to encourage Oldhamers to 'shop Saddleworth' this Black Friday with a plethora of deals up for grabs.
Uppermill is gearing up for an extraordinary shopping event this weekend, starting on Black Friday, November 24, and through to Saturday where shoppers can experience a one-of-a-kind shopping trip with unmissable offers.
Vibrant posters have been put up in the shop windows on Uppermill's High Street to show the businesses which are participating in the event.

It is hoped the 'shop Saddleworth' weekend will shine a spotlight on some of these community-adored stores in the run-up to Christmas and alert shoppers to some of the village's hidden gems.
Each shop will be offering unbeatable deals and exclusive offers while some are even offering the chance to win prizes and complimentary drinks.
Luan Matthews, a women's fashion boutique, said it will be giving away a glass of prosecco, a 15 per cent discount and a complimentary gift bag to the first 10 shoppers who spend more than £50.
The shop added: "Come and feel the buzz in our beautiful Uppermill Village."
Sidney and Sapphire, a boutique pet shop, will also be participating in the 'shop Saddleworth' weekend.
The shop, run by Briony-Leigh Morrey who relocated Sidney and Sapphire into number 74 on the High Street earlier this year, has proved popular with dog lovers in the area and has several festive goodies up for grabs.
Briony shares the building with Oldham's only record shop, Inner Space Records, which will also be taking part in the Black Friday sale.
Owner, Brett Savage, said he felt compelled to open the vinyl store as he got "a kind of musical education" from hanging around record shops in his youth and didn't want others to be starved of a similar experience.
As such, Inner Space Recorders has new and secondhand records to browse as well as expert shopkeepers on hand for musical advice and suggestions.
Other participating businesses include Sukis Wardrobe, Wild Strawberry, Eden Floral Styling, The Cake Kitchen, Star & Bean, Saddleworth Picture Framing, Puddleducks and Medipro Clinic.
