A woman who got into difficulty during a Remembrance Sunday event was successfully treated by a volunteer team who happened to be attending.
On Sunday, November 12, Oldham Mountain Rescue Team joined dozens of residents in Saddleworth at the Pots and Pans monument for the Remembrance Sunday service.
While in attendance, the team came to the aid of a young woman who experienced breathing difficulties after walking up the steep hill to the memorial.

The volunteers assessed the woman and provided treatment at the scene.
After the service, the woman was able to walk down the hill.
The crew said the rest of the service went without any further problems, "despite the bitterly cold wind and rain".
Oldham Mountain Rescue Team were in attendance for one hour and 30 minutes and involved 24 personnel.
