A man has been charged with the murder of a 45-year-old father in Oldham who was found unconscious with a serious head injury in the street last week.
At around 11.55pm on Thursday, November 9, Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a man unconscious in the street on Abbey Hills Road.
A man, who has since been named as Vincent McDonagh, was found with a serious head injury.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, he died a short time later.

Lee Francis Burns, of Worsley Street, has now been charged with the murder of Vincent.
The 38-year-old has been remanded in custody and will appear at Tameside Magistrates Court today (Monday, November 13).
Vincent’s family described the father as a "loving and devoted family man" in a tribute to him.

Greater Manchester Police are now appealing to anyone with information about this incident to come forward.
This includes anyone who may have relevant footage including CCTV, mobile or dashcam.
